There are so many new albums out these days, and the "special song jungle" is so enormous, it's easy to feel lost or ignore those glimpses of gold that pop up every now and then.
A few weeks ago however, The Kooks released their new album "Junk Of The Heart" and although not every song on the album is brilliant, a lot of them were really good, and one popped out at first listen and has stuck with me ever since. It might even become the theme of Autumn 2011 for me.
It's very 60's inspired with harmonies so lush I almost wanna cry, but I won't. I'll make you listen to it instead!
